Pastor Harmon Lewis
Pastor Lewis has been in the ministry for 24 years. He has served 2 years as Director of Recruitment at Luther Preparatory School, 13 at Saving Grace Lutheran Church in Mobile, Alabama, and 9 years here at Messiah. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Martin Luther College and a Master of Divinity degree from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. He serves as the Circuit Pastor for the Atlanta area churches and is a member of the Michigan Lutheran Seminary (MLS) Governing Board. In his free time Pastor Lewis enjoys hunting, long-distance running, and is a classic Jeep enthusiast. Pastor Lewis and his wife, Michelle, have three boys. Jacob is married to Alyssa and is a Pastor in Anchorage, Alaska. Aidan is 24 and is a Pastoral Vicar in Fort Collins, Colorado. He will return to Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2027 to finish off his pastoral studies. Elijah is 18 and is a senior at Michigan Lutheran Seminary (MLS). Michelle has a Bachelor of Education degree from Martin Luther College and is a para-professional at Findley Oaks Elementary.
Mrs. Kara Schroeder
Kara grew up in Madison, Wis., but she lived in California for 23 years. She and her husband have four children together. In her spare time, Miss Kara enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, taking her dog on walks and playing pickleball.
Miss Kara taught 3rd-5th grade in Milwaukee after she graduated from college in 1997. When she and her husband started a family, she decided to go back to school for early childhood education. From 2009-2021, she was the director and morning teacher at a preschool in Santa Ana, Calif. She then moved to Carlsbad, California where she taught pre-k from 2021-2024. Miss Kara is passionate about early childhood education and believes young children learn best through playful, active, hands-on learning experiences in a loving, nurturing environment. She is excited to serve the community of Johns Creek, GA!
Educational Background: Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minn. Early Childhood Director Qualifications and Units completed at Santa Ana College, Santa Ana, Calif.
Vicar Reagan Moore
Vicar Moore grew up in the Flint, Michigan area as a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. During high school, he attended Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw, Michigan. He participated in baseball and football, and it was there that he met his wife Aubrey. After high school he went to Martin Luther College where he received a bachelor’s degree. Aubrey stayed in Michigan and studied business at Northwood University. They got married in July 2024 and moved to Wisconsin to continue Reagan’s pastoral training at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. Now in his third year of Seminary, he is serving as Vicar under Pastor Lewis. Aubrey works from home as head of finance and administration for her father’s company, KLAS Solutions. They love playing pickleball, golfing, trying new food, and spending time together with their dog Cabby.
